Harris wins Bucknell Invite

LEWISBURG - Philipsburg-Osceola diver Jordan Harris won his third straight event of the season on Saturday, capturing the Kinney Natatorium Open on the campus of Bucknell University.

Harris, who competed against 18 other divers, ended the event with a score of 430.45.

Clearfield's Steven Williams also had a strong showing, as he placed third with a total of 373.8.

Williams' Bison teammates also fared well in the pool, as they finished the open in fourth place.

Shay Flanagan and Mark Krchnak each scored second-place finishes. Flanagan was second in the 500 free and added a seventh-place finish in the 200 free. Krchnak was second in the 100 breast and fifth in the 200 IM.

Clearfield also had a pair of relay teams garner points, as the 200 medley relay team took fourth and the 400 free relay team touched the wall in fifth.

Flanagan, Krchnak, Kraig Peterson and Jordan Mumma comprised the 200, while Krchnak, Flanagan and Mumma were joined by Justin DeCasper in the 400.

No Lady Bison swimmer earned points.

Clearfield is back in action Jan. 6 at State College.
