State police at Clearfield
Someone forced entry into a hunting cabin on Oslong Road in Pine Township Wednesday and removed two single-shot shotguns, a flat-screen TV and a Blue Ray DVD player.

Clearfield Boro
The couple involved in a verbal domestic incident along Turnpike Avenue was separated for the night.

Officers handled a verbal confrontation that they observed outside a local establishment in which one male refused to leave.

Following a complaint of noise coming from the back parking lot of a business, officers found individuals were playing a game, and they agreed to stop.

The drunk man trying to gain access to his car and banging on his car windows and yelling at his neighbor's dog was located and police contacted a sober individual to pick him up.

Officers and the Clearfield County Sheriff's Department arrested a 19-year-old Clearfield man for possession of a stolen firearm and concealing a firearm without a permit. While on patrol, a sheriff's deputy received information that the man was trying to sell the firearm to another person on Daisy Street. The deputy was given the man's description and located him at East Sixth and Daisy streets, where he was still in possession of the firearm. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland and bail was set at $5,000. The firearm was reported stolen from a Filbert Street resident in Curwensville Borough in December 2011.

The investigation continues in an incident of harassment that occurred on South Fifth Street in which a Clearfield man threatened his neighbor when he complained about trash accumulated around his residence.

Police were unable to locate anyone at an East Walnut Street residence after a woman reported she thought she heard someone inside.

In a one-vehicle accident, a delivery box truck's roof struck the canopy over the gas pumps, causing minor damage, at Irwin Citgo along Nichols Street.

Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported on North Second Street.

Lawrence Township
The man yelling for help at a 20th Street residence was found to be having a medical emergency and was transported by emergency medical services to Clearfield Hospital.
Clearfield County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.

Extra patrols were requested on Plaza Drive after someone removed chairs from outside a business.

Motorists driving large trucks were reportedly using jake brakes on Clearfield-Curwensville Highway. Drivers of large trucks are reminded not to use jake brakes in properly posted areas.

The investigation continues after an area business reported someone issued a bad check.

Officers assisted a motorist at Walmart Supercenter who locked their keys in their vehicle.

DuBois City
The investigation continues in an incident of harassment yesterday on Rumbarger Avenue where a man reported his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend allegedly threatened him and told him he was going to drag him out of the house.

The missing Osborne Avenue juvenile was located by his grandmother on Maple Avenue after he took the trash out at 8:45 p.m. and did not return. DuBois Fire Department assisted with forming a search party.

The DuBois Street man who allegedly had a knife to his throat and threatened to take his own life this morning was located, taken into custody and transported to DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Sandy Township
Officers handled an incident of harassment Wednesday in which a Wilson Avenue woman reported being harassed by phone calls and texts from an Olive Avenue woman.

Sekula Sign employees reported a man with a shaved head, approximately 25 years old, came into the business attempting to sell Steelers apparel Wednesday. He was asked to leave, and came back in through a back door. He was told to leave again, apologized and left again. He left in a white Mercury with Ohio tags with an older man who had waited in the car.
Officers searched the area and could not locate the men.

While driving on Coral Reef Road a Treasure Lake woman had a medical emergency, causing her vehicle to travel off the road, up a hill on the golf course and down the hill, coming to rest against a stump. She was taken by EMS to DRMC and a passenger was treated at the scene.

The investigation continues after a Treasure Lake man reported Wednesday that his 17-year-old son was harassed and threatened by a 55-year-old Treasure Lake man. This followed an incident where the boy was accused of shooting a BB gun at the man's mother's house.

Officers are investigating after a DuBois man lost control of his vehicle on Platt Road Wednesday, causing it to skid, strike a railroad crossing sign and a large piece of concrete.
The man told police that his passenger was the one driving, but an investigation revealed that was determined to be false.

On Wednesday, a Pacific Avenue woman was charged with a noise ordinance violation due to barking dogs.

Retail theft charges were filed against a Texas man yesterday after he was seen by Walmart employees attempting to steal a pair of headphones and a men's jacket.

Yesterday, a Treasure Lake man was charged with public drunkenness after he was seen stumbling at the Towne Center at Treasure Lake. Witnesses took the man's keys and called police, who took the man into custody and released him to family.

The dispute between a DuBois man and his 17-year-old son in front of the Sandy Club yesterday was verbal and officers handled the situation without incident.

Morris-Cooper Regional
On Sunday, police responded to the Morris Township Recreation Center during bingo for a man with a gun. A Philipsburg resident was taken into custody without incident after he brought a handgun with him to speak with his ex-girlfriend in an attempt to get her back. He was transported to the hospital for an evaluation with the Clearfield/Jefferson Mental Health Crisis.

Police are looking for two four-wheelers and an all-terrain vehicle side-by-side that fled Friday night on Main Street in Winburne. The ATV side-by-side is dark green, one four wheeler is camouflage and the second four-wheeler is red. Anyone who may have seen these vehicles and can identify them is asked to call 765-1533.

The investigation continues after Mountain View Market employees reported a Morrisdale resident issued two checks that were returned for non-sufficient funds.

Police assisted Moshannon Valley EMS with a drug overdose in Lanse Sunday morning.

Someone used a 20-gauge shotgun to shoot out the kitchen window and sliding glass doors at a Cooper Township residence, which was vacant at the time. Anyone with information should contact police.

In an act of criminal mischief, someone smashed the windows in a Morrisdale resident's trailer and the resident reported items were missing. Also, a video poker machine was smashed outside the front door. Police are seeking more information.

Residents are reminded not to give personal information over the phone or send money to anyone they don't know after a Cooper Township resident reported a phone scam to police.
The 80-year-old woman she is taking care of has been receiving phone calls from a man named Emmanuel stating he has a package to send to the her, but needs $1,000 to be sent in order to get it.

An act of criminal mischief occurred when a Morris Township resident reported someone smashed several mailboxes along Myers Road. While police checked around the township, they found several mailboxes along Old Turnpike Road and Morrisdale-Allport Highway were also smashed. Anyone with information should contact police.

In an incident of retail theft, a juvenile stole a Red Bull drink and left the store before being stopped by the cashier.

A domestic assault occurred in Hawk Run when a Philipsburg resident punched a Hawk Run resident in the face during an argument regarding child custody.
