ICC announces 2012 football all-stars

The Inter-County Conference football all-stars were released with Glendale, Moshannon Valley and West Branch all being well represented.
In the silver division, the Vikings had six first-teamers and seven more tabbed as honorable mentions, while the Black Knights had five on the first team and a total of nine players honored.
The Warriors, who compete in the gold division, also had five chosen as all-ICC first-teamers and 10 in all.
On the first team offense in the silver division were Glendale's Damon Braniff (running back), Chris Wilson (offensive line) and Sam Troxell (offensive line) and Mo Valley's Tanner Dipko (quarterback), James Stodart (wide receiver) and Austin Mital (offensive line), while the Vikings' Brandon Johns (linebacker) and Doug Twigg (defensive back) and the Knights' Kent Stewart (defensive end) and Jake Ludwig (linebacker) were first-team defenders.
Glendale's Gary Witherow was tabbed as a first-teamer as an athlete on special teams.
West Branch's Chad Speigle (running back) and Trey English (offensive line) were offensive picks in the gold division with teammates Morgan Selepack (defensive line) and Josh Pennington (defensive end) defensive selections. Parker Emigh was the team's kicker.
Glendale's Bill Snyder (wide receiver), Matt Bantly (wide receiver), Taylor Jersey (wide receiver), Justin Kephart (offensive line), Eli McNally (defensive line), Skooter Conklin (defensive line) and Derrian Matchock (kicker), Mo Valley's Justin Kitko (wide receiver), Eric Sherkel (wide receiver), Jack Bunnell (offensive line) and Caleb Campbell (linebacker), and West Branch's L.G. Smeal (running back), Buzzy Maines (defensive line), Kirt Carles (defensive end), Walker Williams (defensive back) and Jonathan Sanker (defensive back) were honorable mention picks.
