The Kane man and his passenger, a Kane woman, suffered minor injuries, while the Ohio woman and her passenger, an Ohio man, were not injured.
Yesterday at 3:05 p.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred in Grampian. Harry Rowles of Grampian was traveling west on North Sixth Street and Richard Muth of DuBois was traveling north on Main Street. Rowles approached the stop sign and his brakes malfunctioned, causing him to lose control of his motorcycle. The motorcycle started to go down on its left side, so he got off of it. It continued to slide onto Main Street and into the side of Muth's vehicle, where the impact caused it to spin across the U.S. Route 219 southbound lane and strike a curb.
Grampian Fire Department and fire police assisted at the scene.
