State police at Clearfield
Yesterday at approximately 1:10 a.m., a hit-and-run accident occurred on U.S. Route 322 in Mineral Springs. A tan Ford sport utility vehicle was traveling east, sideswiped the driver's side of an Osceola Mills man's disabled vehicle parked on the south shoulder and failed to stop.
Anyone with information should contact police at 857-3800.
A two-vehicle accident occurred yesterday at 8:25 a.m. on state Route 879 in Penn Township.
John Miller of Grampian was traveling east and failed to see traffic stopped ahead and his vehicle struck the back of a vehicle driven by George Hoyt of Grampian, who was stopped in the eastbound lane waiting to turn left at a driveway. Both men were wearing their seat belts. Miller was not injured, but Hoyt suffered minor injuries.
A Florida man was not injured when his vehicle struck a deer on Interstate 80 westbound at miler marker 127 in Bradford Township yesterday at 6:07 p.m.
Tori Dunkel of Osceola Mills was traveling east on Walton Street in Chester Hill yesterday at 5:02 p.m. when her vehicle struck the back of a parked vehicle along the south berm, pushing it into a house. She was taken via Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services to Clearfield Hospital. Chester Hill Fire Co. assisted at the scene.

Clearfield Boro
In an incident of harassment, a Clearfield man harassed a person over money.
The investigation continues in an act of criminal mischief in which a window was broken at a South Third Street business.

Lawrence Township
Reckless driving was reported at Clearfield Area High School, and police are working with school officials to address the issue.
The investigation continues in the theft of personal property from a break room at an area business.
Harassment by communication was reported after an area resident received unwanted text messages, and police spoke to those involved and handled the incident without an arrest.
Individuals reportedly trespassing and entering Dumpsters at an area business left prior to the police being called.
Disorderly conduct and harassment were reported at an area motel, and police attempted to contact an alleged victim via voicemail, but they did not return the call.
The driver and passenger who were seen exiting Lawrence Township Rec Park after hours were warned that the park closes at dark.

Curwensville Boro
Yesterday afternoon, an incident of trespass by motor vehicle was reported.
A Cochranville man was charged with terroristic threats, harassment by communication and disorderly conduct following an incident of terroristic threats yesterday.
