Church offers Christmas Day meal Friday, December 07, 2012 The Presbyterian Church of Clearfield is gearing up for its 15th annual free community turkey dinner to be served in Westminster Hall Christmas Day from 3-5 p.m. The church is located at 119 N. Second St., Clearfield, across from the post office. According to the organizers, it is an opportunity for singles, empty nesters, groups of friends or whole families to come together to enjoy fellowship and a meal with others on this day. Although people are encouraged to stop in to dine from 3-5 p.m., takeout meals will be provided from 1-2:30 p.m. only. Adherence to the time schedule makes everything flow smoothly. No reservations are necessary and the meal is free of charge, but donations are accepted. If someone is homebound because of age, illness or disability, a meal can be delivered. Reservations for home deliveries may be made by calling Pat Crago at 765-5825 or the church office by 5 p.m. Dec. 21.
