State police at Clearfield
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident yesterday at 4 a.m. when Jon Hartman of Smithmill was traveling north on state Route 153 in Woodward Township. He approached a stop sign and applied the brakes, causing his vehicle to slide across Atlantic Avenue into the woods, where it struck a tree and came to rest in the woods on the west side of the road facing north.
The investigation continues after police arrested a Clearfield man who was involved in a driving under the influence accident last night on U.S. Route 322 in Bradford Township.
Someone broke the back driver's side window on a Jeep that was parked behind the Sunshine Bar in Coalport between 11 p.m. Monday and 3:20 a.m. yesterday. Anyone with information should call the police at 857-3800.

Clearfield Boro
Officers handled two separate cases of harassment by communication.
Extra patrols will be provided following a report of vehicles speeding on Spruce Street.
Police handled a traffic complaint on North Front Street in which a vehicle was speeding and the driver was not obeying crosswalks.
The unwanted man reported at a Bigler Avenue residence was gone when police arrived.
Following a harassment report along East Market Street, the Clearfield woman decided not to pursue charges.

Lawrence Township
Someone reported an unwanted individual was inside an occupied structure, but police were unable to locate anyone or evidence that anyone had been in the home.
A two-vehicle accident occurred on River Road when a vehicle struck a vehicle stopped in the lane of travel.
Clearfield Borough police, Clearfield-Jefferson Mental Health/Mental Retardation and Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc. assisted with a psychological emergency.
Theft charges were filed against an area woman who allegedly stole several jewelry items.
Officers received calls about an ongoing theft case and an ongoing burglary investigation.
An incident of harassment by communication that occurred in Clearfield was turned over to Clearfield Borough police.
The individual who reported a civil complaint was advised to contact a magisterial district judge's office.
The investigation continues in a possible burglary and protection from abuse violation at a Turnpike Avenue Extension residence.
A verbal domestic dispute in Hyde was resolved at the scene when a woman left the residence.

Sandy Township
On Friday, a Spafford Road woman reported receiving several calls from a man claiming to be involved with the Red Cross in soliciting donations who became increasingly aggressive with each call. He tried to get her credit card information. Upon investigation, police found the calls originated from the Dominican Republic.
A Treasure Lake woman reported receiving numerous derogatory text messages from a Clearfield man Friday.
No injuries were reported when a Treasure Lake man stopped to turn off of Shaffer Road and the back of his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by a Ridgway man, which was then struck by a vehicle driven by a DuBois man.
The 911 hang-up call from an Ohio Avenue residence Friday was accidental.
A DuBois man's vehicle slid on Coral Reef Road at Treasure Lake Friday and came to rest off the road into the median.
Following a reckless driving report Saturday in DuBois and the township, officers located a Weedville man at McDonald's who admitted to driving in an aggressive manner.
No injuries were reported Saturday when a vehicle driven by a 50-year-old motorist pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by a DuBois man while exiting Interstate 80 onto SR 255.
Someone reportedly fraudulently used a Treasure Lake woman's Social Security number.
Officers handled a domestic dispute Saturday at Treasure Lake in which a man and his adult son got into a fight following an argument and the son's shoulder was dislocated.
A New Kensington woman reported a man in the group she was staying with at the Treasure Lake cabins was intoxicated and harassing her, but she didn't want officers to directly confront him.
The Weedville woman and Brockport man who were arguing in the Clarion Motel lobby Sunday were separated for the evening and the situation was handled without incident.
On Sunday, a Rockton man reported his vehicle was damaged when it struck an object on Rockton Road.
