DAILY POLICE LOG Friday, December 28, 2012 State police at Clearfield No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday on Carbide Road in Pike Township in which Robert Gregory of Grampian was traveling west too fast for conditions when he attempted to make a right turn and slid across the roadway. The left front of Gregory's vehicle struck the left front of a vehicle driven by Carol Elensky of Olanta who was traveling south on SR 3025 and approaching a stop sign. Gregory's vehicle came to rest on Carbide Road facing north, while Elensky's vehicle came to rest on the berm facing south. --- On Saturday, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 80 in Cooper Township near mile marker 137 in which a New York man was traveling west in the right lane and noticed a vehicle in his blind spot when he began to merge into the left lane. The man swerved back into the right lane, causing his vehicle to slide and rotate in a clockwise direction. His vehicle slid off of the northern berm and into a ditch where it struck an embankment with its left side, overturned once and came to a final rest on its wheels along the berm facing north. The man suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Clearfield Hospital by Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services. --- Someone cut down three oak trees on private property along Twoey Hollow Road in Boggs Township between Dec. 9-16. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police at 857-3800. --- Charges were filed in district court against three individuals after an accident on Good Street in Houtzdale at 3:55 a.m. Police arrested a 19-year-old Madera man for consumption of liquor or malt or brewed beverages and suspicion of DUI and charged a 20-year-old Houtzdale woman and a 20-year-old Philipsburg woman with consumption of liquor or malt or brewed beverages. Clearfield Boro Police assisted Clearfield emergency medical services, due to icy conditions, with removing a patient from their residence. --- Police located a missing juvenile on South Second Street. The juvenile was reported missing from an event at the Clearfield Bowling Lanes. --- Police assisted EMS on Turnpike Avenue.
