State police at Clearfield
No injuries were reported in a hit-and-run accident yesterday at 12:08 p.m. on Interstate 80 in Bradford Township when a vehicle being driven east in the left lane tried to change lanes. A New York man attempted to merge and the other vehicle struck the back of his vehicle, causing his vehicle to slide out of control, cross the right lane, strike a guide rail, travel across both lanes and come to rest along the berm. The other vehicle continued east without stopping.
The investigation continues after someone entered numerous vehicles in Chester Hill last night and removed items, some of which was recovered. Police have a person of interest and several possible unknown people of interest. Anyone whose vehicle was entered or has information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Jan. 21 on I-80 in Cooper Township.
A California man was traveling east in the right lane near mile marker 132 too fast for conditions when his vehicle rotated clockwise and its adjoining trailer slid across the lane and struck the guide rail.
His vehicle then slid off the northern berm and struck the back of a parked vehicle from a previous accident, continued to slide off the northern berm, and came to rest in a median facing west. The parked vehicle was pushed down into a median and came to rest facing northwest.

Lawrence Township
Officers received a report of ongoing disorderly conduct and traffic violations.
Those involved in a civil property dispute were referred to appropriate agencies.
The investigation continues after police were called to Walmart for a report of counterfeit U.S. currency.
A man was reportedly going through a Dumpster on South Second Street.
The investigation continues and a vehicle registration was obtained after an out-of-town resident allegedly put garbage in a Dumpster at Snappy's.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at Sapp Bros. when a tractor-trailer slid on ice and struck another truck.

State police at DuBois
On Saturday at 6:48 a.m., a one-vehicle accident occurred on I-80 in Sandy Township.
A Centre Hall man was traveling west in the right lane near mile marker 100.4 when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy road, causing it to strike a guide rail along the north berm. The vehicle traveled 60 feet along the guide rail, overturned, slid and came to rest in the middle of the road on its roof facing northwest.
He suffered minor injuries, while his passenger, a Centre Hall woman, who was entrapped and had to be extricated, suffered major injuries. Sandy Township, Adrian and Oklahoma fire companies, DuBois Emergency Medical Services and the state Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident Jan. 22 on I-80 in Union Township.
Dona Bean of DuBois was traveling west, her vehicle exited the north side of the road and she counter steered, causing it to travel across both lanes and exit the south side, where its undercarriage struck an embankment.

Sandy Township
Minor injuries were reported Friday when a DuBois man lost control of his vehicle on Oklahoma-Salem Road, it spun around, struck a curb and pole and came to rest in a yard.
Officers responded to Clearfield-Jefferson Mental Health on Coldwell Drive Friday for a Clearfield woman who became violent with staff. She was taken to DuBois Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
On Friday, a Weedville man's vehicle struck the back of a vehicle driven by a Luthersburg man, was turning onto Hungry Hollow Road from SR 255. The Luthersburg man was taken to DRMC then to Pittsburgh with severe injuries, while his passenger, a DuBois woman, was taken to DRMC and then Pittsburgh due to early onset labor because of the accident. The Weedville man failed field sobriety tests and was taken to DRMC for chemical testing.
Two DuBois men who got into a fight at the Sandy Club Friday and wouldn't leave were gone when officers arrived.
Walmart employees reportedly caught an Emporium man and woman taking several items without paying Saturday.
A DuBois woman reportedly lost her purse at Shaffer Road and Maple Avenue Saturday.
On Saturday, a Reynoldsville man was traveling on Blinker Parkway when his vehicle struck a deer.
No injuries were reported Saturday when a Massachusetts man lost control of his vehicle on Gamelands Road. The vehicle traveled off the road and struck a tree head-on.
The investigation continues after a DuBois Village employee reported someone took cash and cigarettes from her purse in the breakroom Saturday.
A DuBois man failed field sobriety tests and was taken to DRMC for chemical testing Saturday after he lost control of his vehicle on Rockton Road and it traveled into a ditch.
The investigation continues after a logging company owner reported Sunday that someone took two truckloads of lumber from a Showers Road job site.

Curwensville Boro
On Friday afternoon, a pedestrian reported being harassed by a passing motorist on Susquehanna Avenue.
A Curwensville School student was reportedly found to be in possession of marijuana Friday.
Snappy's employees reported seeing a Curwensville man place items under his clothing last night. The man was apprehended.

State police at Philipsburg
Yesterday at 8:20 a.m., a Tyrone man was traveling north on I-99 in the left lane when he lost control of his vehicle, it struck the guide rail, traveled across both lanes and struck an embankment. He was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. Port Matilda Fire Co. assisted at the scene.
No injuries were reported in an accident that occurred yesterday at 4:20 p.m. on I-99 at mile marker 63 when the driver lost control of the vehicle. It crossed into the median while rotating 180 degrees, entered the roadway and was struck by a pickup truck. The truck traveled into the right lane and the back of it was struck by a tractor-trailer. Port Matilda Fire and Ambulance assisted police at the scene.
A State College woman was not injured yesterday when her vehicle slid off the south berm on U.S. Route 322, just prior to it merging onto I-99. It struck a traffic sign, rotated while continuing into an embankment and came to rest on its roof.
No injuries were reported when a Port Matilda woman was traveling south on Merengo Road yesterday at 2:24 p.m. and lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a left curve. It traveled over an embankment and struck a tree head-on.
