Daily Police Log Friday, February 08, 2013 State police at Clearfield Beth Martin of Frenchville was not injured in a one-vehicle accident yesterday at 6:46 a.m. when she was traveling south on Rolling Stone Road in Cooper Township. She lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a left curve, it traveled onto the west berm and struck a utility pole.
Clearfield Boro Two women fighting at East Cherry and South Third streets were causing a disturbance in which one was found to be intoxicated and the other attempted to assist her in getting home. --- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported, but the person called back and stated that her friend returned the car and did not want to pursue charges. --- The unwanted intoxicated man reported at a Linden Street residence was gone prior to police arrival, but he was seen passing by in a vehicle. Officers made contact and advised he was no longer welcome at the residence. --- Officers issued a parking ticket following a complaint that a vehicle was parked in a no parking area.
Lawrence Township Harassment was reported by a Park Avenue Extension resident. --- Someone found a wallet on Supercenter Drive. --- Criminal mischief to a vehicle parked on Pleasant Lane was reported. --- No injuries were reported after a vehicle slid off Guinea Hill Road into a yard.
State police at Philipsburg Yesterday, a Woodland man was taken into custody and placed in Centre County Correctional Facility for violating a protection from abuse order Tuesday. --- No injuries were reported when a Harrisburg man was traveling north on Interstate 99 near mile marker 56.6 in the left lane yesterday at 8 a.m. and his vehicle traveled off the road. It traveled onto the east berm, struck and traveled over a small embankment and came to rest in a ditch.
