Daily Police Log Saturday, February 09, 2013 State police at DuBois A one-vehicle accident was reported Friday to state police at DuBois. A vehicle driven by Eric Jarrett of Jersey Shore was traveling on Interstate 80 east when the vehicle's tires broke traction on the snow-covered roadway, causing it to travel off the south shoulder where it struck the embankment and rolled onto it's roof. No injuries were reported and he was wearing a seat belt.
Sandy Township A National Oil Well Varco empoloyee reported unauthorized use of a company credit card in Texas Wendesday. --- No injuries were reported Wednesday when a plow on a vehicle driven by a Driftwood man clipped a vehicle driven by a Reynoldsville man while exiting Wendy's parking lot. --- The investigation continues after a DuBois woman reported a home she owns on DuBois Avenue was broken into and approximately 80 feet of copper wire was cut out of the basement. --- On Thursday, a Falls Creek man reported while he was in the Commons parking lot another Falls Creek man threw a cell phone at his vehicle. They became engaged in a verbal altercation and one man fled the scene when the police were called. --- A DuBois woman lost control of her vehicle on Salada Road Thursday, it crossed over the road, traveled into a ditch and back across the road into a ditch. The vehicle then crossed over Judge Road, struck a wood fence, crossed back over Salada Road and struck a tree head-on, where it came to rest. The driver was taken to DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment. --- Retail theft charges were filed against a Brockway girl after she was caught taking a cell phone cover from Walmart without paying for it Thursday.
