Yesterday at 11:42 p.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of North Brady Street for a report of a suspicious man who had been in the store for approximately two hours and refused to leave when asked. The man allegedly harassed customers and yelled at the manager, saying he didn't have to leave.
The man was identified and he advised them he didn't have a place to stay. Officers offered to find him a place to stay but he refused. He was advised to leave the property and if he returned he would be arrested for trespassing. He returned to the store at 12:12 a.m. and officers advised him he was under arrest. When officers attempted to handcuff him, the man resisted by crossing his arms and clenching them to his chest and kicking at them. The man was taken into custody for trespassing and resisting arrest, arraigned and placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of bail.
