Mall burglaries under investigation
Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Someone forced entry into two businesses and several coin-operated machines at Clearfield Mall between 11 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday. Lawrence Township Police Chief Mark Brooks said someone forced entry into Season to Season and Quickie's Restaurant and stole an undisclosed amount of money at both locations. The individual(s) also forced open coin-operated video and skill games, as well as a bill changer owned by Mid State Amusement, he said.
Police have processed the scene, and physical evidence has been sent to a crime lab, Brooks said. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lawrence Township Police Department at 765-1647.
