Police issue 10 citations during State Patty's Day patrol

ALTOONA - Troopers from the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement's Altoona, Williamsport and Harrisburg offices conducted enforcement in State College on Feb. 22-23 during "State Patty's Day."
Police focused on the enforcement of liquor laws which included but were not limited to the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages, public drunkenness and similar conduct, carrying a false identification card, and selling or furnishing liquor or malt or brewed beverages to minors. Troopers also focused attention on licensed establishments in regard to how they operate and serve patrons during the two-day period.
Police cited 10 individuals for underage possession, one for disorderly conduct, two for public drunkenness and one for false identification. In addition, criminal charges are pending against three adults for furnishing alcohol to minors.
