State police at Clearfield
Jeremy Clancy of Houtzdale was not injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday at 3:50 p.m. when he was traveling north on state Route 53 in Bigler Township and lost control of his vehicle. It crossed the centerline, traveled onto the east berm, struck a guide rail, traveled back across the centerline and struck an embankment. Madera Fire Co. assisted at the scene.
Patrick Demchak of Morrisdale reported someone caused approximately $200 in damage by using a paint gun to shoot his vehicle while it was parked on Sylvan Grove Road in Cooper Township Saturday between 1-5 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.
Cody Golding of Munson was traveling south on Hardscrabble Road in Cooper Township near Lowes Hill Road yesterday at 11:11 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the centerline and northbound lane and struck a tree. Golding was wearing his seat belt and suffered minor injuries. He was transported by Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services to Clearfield Hospital for treatment.
Morris Township Fire Co. assisted at the scene.
Yesterday at 1:31 p.m., a one-vehicle accident occurred in Pine Township when a Virginia man was traveling south on SR 153, he lost control of his vehicle and it traveled off the right side of the road. His vehicle became airborne for a short distance, began to overturn when it landed, struck a tree with its roof and another tree with its front end and came to rest.
The driver was flown via medical helicopter to Altoona Regional Health System for treatment of major injuries.

Lawrence Township
A woman reportedly trespassed at a Hyde residence but left prior to the police being notified.
The investigation continues in a two-vehicle accident at SR 879 and Supercenter Drive in which an Allentown woman was flown via medical helicopter to Al-toona Regional Health System.
Police responded to a noise complaint along the T-lane in Hyde and advised individuals to quiet down.
Officers are investigating a report of stolen medication.
Assistance was given to a couple locked out of their home, and police were able to gain access to their residence.
A report of damage to unattended property at Edgewood Apartments was received.
Officers checked the welfare of a township resident, who was located after a short time.
The investigation continues after police responded to an attempted burglary at a Hyde business.
Police responded to an area hotel for a report of someone with a medical emergency.
The investigation continues and police have a person of interest in a report of drug delivery.
Assistance was given to another agency with the recovery of property.
Extra patrols were requested and will be provided when possible in a report of possible drug activity.
Officers located the vehicle involved in reported reckless driving on SR 879 and didn't observe any traffic violations.
A noise complaint was reported on Washington Avenue.
Police responded to an accident on Supercenter Drive.
Officers were called to separate incidents of harassment, including one involving child custody.
Assistance was given to a motorist.
A Montgomery Run Road resident reported hearing four shots fired spaced out over a 10-minute period. Officers searched the area and spoke to residents, but no other information was available.
The investigation continues in a report of possible forgery.
In an incident of harassment by communication, a woman was receiving unwanted text messages from a known man.
Police responded to a public service call at a South Second Street business.

State police at Punxsy
Anyone with information about the theft of several tools from an open garage along East Main Street in Mahaffey between March 15-20 should contact the police at 938-0510.

State police at DuBois
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday at 8 a.m. in Huston Township when a Virginia man lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a left curve on Tyler Road due to excessive speed. His vehicle exited the west side of the road, traveled down an embankment, struck a large tree, overturned onto its roof and came to rest facing east.
A Weedville man reported he was harassed by a known Penfield man in the parking lot of a Penfield business March 22, but didn't wish to seek prosecution.
