State police at Clearfield
In an incident of indirect criminal contempt, a known Irvona resident sent a known Coalport resident a text message Monday in violation of a protection from abuse order.
Joseph Blake of Coalport was not injured in a one-vehicle accident July 15 in Jordan Township when he was traveling north on Irvona Road and failed to negotiate a left curve. His vehicle crossed into the southbound lane, exited the road and traveled approximately 40 yards through a yard before striking several trees and coming to rest.
Yesterday at 11:40 a.m., someone stole prescription medication from a 10th Street residence in Grampian. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.
Troopers are seeking more information after someone stole prescription medication from a Holly Lane residence in Olanta yesterday at 12:30 p.m.
Tiffany Spencer of Woodland was not injured in a one-vehicle accident yesterday at 12:05 a.m. in Boggs Township when she was traveling north on state Route 970. She was turning on her vehicle high beams when she lost control of her vehicle, it struck a dirt embankment and some trees.
Billy Bainey of Morann reported someone entered his residence along Ginter-Morann Highway in Gulich Township yesterday between 4:40 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Removed were four tires and metal wheels, valued at approximately $1,800. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
Someone stole miscellaneous items from Michael Fry's residence in Lanse yesterday at 3:33 p.m., put them in a plastic bag and placed them in a field behind a Walnut Lane residence. Morris-Cooper Regional Police Department is investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 342-5621.

Lawrence Township
Officers assisted Clearfield Emergency Medical Services along Daisy Street Extension.
An ongoing traffic violation was reported to police.
The investigation continues in the possible theft of medication from a township residence.
Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call near Clearfield County Jail and the complaint was unfounded.
Assistance was given to a motorist along Washington Avenue.
The investigation continues in an incident of forgery that occurred in 2011.
A landlord-tenant dispute over property was resolved at the scene, and the individuals were referred to appropriate agencies.
The investigation continues in a hit-and-run accident in the Walmart parking lot.
No injuries were reported in a vehicle fire on the U.S. Route 322 Mount Zion exit in which police and the fire department responded to the scene.
A suspicious vehicle was reported on Lick Run Road near the old airport entrance.
An incident of harassment was reported on Mill Road.
The investigation continues in a theft from an area storage unit.
A Woodland woman was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
A traffic violation was reported on Martin Street Extension.
Officers interviewed a person of interest in a report of theft, forgery and related crimes.
Police responded to a psychological emergency in which an individual who attempted to overdose was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.

DuBois City
The investigation continues in a hit-and-run accident that occurred Monday at approximately 5:12 p.m. in which a vehicle struck another vehicle parked at S&T Bank on Scribner Avenue. White paint was transferred onto the parked vehicle's bumper. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 371-2000.
In an incident of theft, someone stole a chair, valued at $125, off of a porch in the 500 block of West Weber Avenue. Police spoke to neighbors and searched the surrounding area, but were unable to locate the chair. An investigation is under way and anyone with information is asked to call the police.
Suspicious activity was reported at a business in the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue at approximately 2:40 a.m. yesterday. Two men pulled into the parking lot, grabbed a concrete block and started looking inside vehicles. A witness noticed the men and told them to stop. They approached the witness, and the individual ran from them. Officers are investigating.
Yesterday at approximately 4:28 a.m., police were called to a residence in the 100 block of East DuBois Avenue for a report of criminal mischief. A witness saw a man driving a dark-colored sport utility vehicle or pickup truck park his vehicle and get out and throw something at a residence's window, which was found to be a mailbox the man had broken off. The identity of the people of interest are known and the investigation continues.
The investigation continues in a report of an unintentional drug overdose yesterday at approximately 4:49 p.m. in which a man advised officers someone gave him the wrong medication. He was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.

State police at Philipsburg
Between Jan. 1 and July 16, someone scammed an 86-year-old Port Matilda man out of money. The investigation continues and anyone with information should contact police at 342-3370.
