State police at Clearfield
Two charcoal planters, valued at approximately $80, were stolen from the front yard of a Splash Dam Road residence in Penn Township Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.

Lawrence Township
An incident of theft along Dorey Street was referred to Clearfield Borough police.
The investigation continues in the theft of leased property from a rental center.
Officers are investigating a report of possible corruption of minors.
Illegal dumping was reported on Rocky Bend Road.
The investigation continues in a report of tampering with public records.
No emergency was found when police responded to a 911 hang-up call at Clearfield Area High School.
Officers responded to a domestic incident on River Road, but no action was required.
A man attempted to pass a bad check at a truck stop, where police detained him and found he had a warrant for his arrest in another state. It was also learned that the vehicle he was driving was stolen in Idaho. He was taken into custody on felony charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and several traffic offenses. The man was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Hawkins and bail was set at $25,000. He was transported to Clearfield County Jail to await his preliminary hearing Wednesday.
Suspicious individuals at Clearfield Mall were gone when police arrived.
An unwanted Clearfield man reported at a Jones Drive residence fled the scene when police arrived.

State police at DuBois
A Falls Creek woman was charged with disorderly conduct following an altercation with a 17-year-old DuBois boy in a parking lot adjacent to 109 Main St., Falls Creek, Tuesday at 3:25 p.m.

DuBois City
The investigation continues after a man went to the police station yesterday and reported he was punched by a known man.
Officers are investigating a report of someone destroying $150 worth of property overnight at a South Brady Street business.
In an act of criminal mischief, two known individuals were on the roof of a West Long Avenue building and caused approximately $350 in damage.

Sandy Township
On Monday, a Harold Bundy Road man reported someone took his chainsaw when he left it on his property to remove a load of logs, but said it was returned later.
An AT&T employee in the DuBois Mall reported a woman came into the store and harassed her and made harassing phone calls.
A Maple Avenue man sold an item on Craig's List and received a payment in the form of a check in excess of the amount with a letter. It stated he was to cash the check, keep the payment and send the rest to an unknown person in Maryland. He recognized it as a scam and immediately called the police.
Someone damaged a South Main Street resident's vehicle by scratching the paint while it was parked at her residence Monday.
The investigation continues after Walmart employees turned over security video of three women filling two carts with assorted food and home décor items and leaving the store without paying.
A Lewis Run man reported he was involved in an accident at Treasure Lake over the Labor Day weekend on Coral Run Road.
Someone took a John Deer Rototiller from a Home Camp Road man's property Monday.
Minor injuries were reported Tuesday when a DuBois man was traveling on U.S. Route 219 near Slab Run Road and a tire blew out on his motorcycle, causing him to lose control of the bike and crash.

Curwensville Boro
Police handled an incident of harassment on Hill Street at the scene.
Harassment by communication was reported in which a woman received unwanted phone calls from a known man, who was advised to stop or charges would be filed.
A Schofield Street resident reported he was being harassed by an unknown man.
Officers handled a reported fight at Curwensville Commons at the scene.
In a hit-and-run accident, a vehicle struck and damaged the inside and outside of a building at 528 State St. Anyone who has information is asked to call the police at 236-3858.
The investigation continues in an incident of simple assault at Curwensville Commons in which an unknown man punched someone in the face and caused bodily injury. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call the police.
The man who was reportedly driving without a license was located and cited for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.

State police at Philipsburg
Someone destroyed a mailbox at Ardery Hollow and Sunnyside Hollow roads in Worth Township Saturday.
Jessica Yeager reported someone stole a 9mm handgun from her vehicle while it was parked on East Pine Street in Philipsburg Sept. 2.
